Coinmama CEO Sagi Bakshi told BleepingComputer that they are not dependable for these e-mails and are investigating the attack on their name.

If this was intended as an assault on their manufacturer, then it is operating as supposed, as other web site owners who received this email have started off to leave unfavorable opinions on their Trustpilot page.

In June 2019, a different extortion fraud focusing on internet website owners was earning the rounds. In that campaign, the scammers threatened to ruin a site’s standing except if they paid out $2,400 in bitcoin.
