Washington DC [US], January 30 (ANI/Sputnik): The Biden administration is prioritizing dealing with Iran’s progress in the direction of acquiring a nuclear weapon, US Nationwide Stability Adviser Jake Sullivan claimed on Friday.
“From our standpoint, a critical early priority has to be to deal with what is an escalating nuclear disaster as they move closer and nearer to getting more than enough fissile substance for a weapon,” Sullivan explained throughout a virtual panel discussion hosted by the US Institute of Peace.
The Biden administration would like to reestablish some of the constraints on Iran’s nuclear system that have fallen apart more than the earlier two years, Sullivan stated.
President Joe Biden has vowed to renter the Joint In depth Approach of Action (JCPOA) following his predecessor Donald Trump withdrew the United States from the accord and pursued a “optimum strain” marketing campaign against Iran.
